There has yet to be written a definitive history of  Latinos at Columbia. Indeed, the story of Latinos at Columbia is a living history that is constantly being created sometimes by individuals, other times by organziations, and even a few times by the entire community. It is also  a history that does not stop being written upon leaving  Columbia, as we all have responsibilities as alumni or former faculty members.

Assemble here are a few articles and a brief history. It is our hope over teh next year and a half to assemble as much information about Latinos at Columbia University, past and present. Perhaps through a Kluge grant, or a number of student Independent Study Projects can be add to the tapestry that is the Latino narrative at this particular Ivy League Tower.
