Daron Carreiro, Co-Chair

Daron Carreiro (Chickasaw) grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma, attended high school in Washington, D.C., and graduated from Dartmouth College in 2002.  He is a member of the PLSI class of 2004, and is currently a 2L at Columbia Law School.  Prior to law school, Daron worked for his tribe’s Washington office as well as for an Indian-owned business development firm in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Currently he serves as the Area 6 Representative for National NALSA.

April Day, C0-Chair

April (Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma), a graduate of Stanford University, is currently a 2L at Columbia Law School.

Melissa Tiarks, Vice-Chair

Melissa is currently a 2L and is a member of the Journal on Asian Law and co-president of Columbia Society for International Law.   She is originally from Wisconsin and enjoys photography and boxing.

 

Devin Slack, Vice-Chair

Devin is currently a 2L.  He placed 3rd in the Individual Oralist category in the 2005 NNALSA Moot Court Competition.  He spent the past summer working at the American Indian Law Alliance.
