Chau Le is the Director of the Society for Immigrant and Refugee Rights. As Director, she is the ranking member of the SIRR Board. She leads Board meetings, represents the organization to the student body and the University administration, manages the budget together with Grace, the treasurer, and is responsible for the day-to-day workings of SIRR.

Chau is a second year law school student. She worked for two summers in Vietnam as an undergrad at Harvard where she concentrated in Economics. After college, she was an M&A Investment Banking Analyst with Wachovia Securities for two years before going to Oxford for a master's in Forced Migration (Refugee Studies). She then went to Nairobi to work for UNHCR in their Protection Unit, then to Ngara, Tanzania, where she was second in command of JRS Radio Kwizera. Radio Kwizera provides news and programming to the border of Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, and the DRC, focusing on the refugees camps in Tanzania and the populations in refugee-affected areas. When she realized her five-year college reunion was coming up, Chau finally stopped deferring and went to law school. She spent her 1L summer at Goodwin Procter LLP in Boston, MA.
