The Howard and Natalie Shawn Lecture aims each year to bring to Columbia a scholar of the highest promise and reputation. The Thursday night talk will be followed by a public reception and dinner for invited guests at the Faculty House. On Friday morning, a distinguished panel of three experts will then hold a public symposium on the lecture topic. The public will be invited.
