Booking Space
Recognized Student Groups may be able to reserve certain classrooms for an approved event through University Event Management (UEM).
All faculty/staff reservations for class or departmental purposes should be made through the University Registrar.
Available Buildings
Certain classrooms in the following buildings can be reserved for scheduled events through UEM:
- Fayerweather Hall
- Hamilton Hall
- Kent Hall
- Mathematics
- Pupin Hall
Other buildings and some specific classrooms are managed by individual departments and schools. To reserve these rooms, please contact the managing department or school.
Available Classrooms
Due to the demand for classroom space on campus, specific rooms may or may not be available at any given time. If room location is important to your group, it is best to include two or three acceptable options in your request. Food and drink are not permitted in any of the classrooms.

Reservation Instructions
To reserve a classroom, submit a space request. Make sure to include the following information:
- Date(s) classroom will be needed
- Event start and end time
- Number of attendees
- Building and room preferences
- Special needs
- University account number (if applicable)
Payment
There are no rental fees for classroom reservations for recognized Student Groups. However, the following charges may be applicable:
- Cleaning charge (weekends only)
- Security charge (only if building needs to be opened)
Groups may pay for these charges by either check or University account number.
