Booking Space
Space for events is available in Lerner Hall and specific campus buildings and outdoor areas. These spaces are administered by University Event Management (UEM) and can either be reserved online using the Event Management System (EMS) or through a space request form.
Lerner Hall
Rooms in Lerner Hall come in a variety of shapes and sizes, from the fifteen-hundred seat Roone Arledge Auditorium to intimate conference rooms for twenty-five. Please view our room descriptions below to decide which room is right for you.
A quick piece of advice: many rooms are booked very quickly, particularly for weekend dates, so you may want to consider a back-up room or two.

Rooms in Other Campus Buildings
Certain rooms in residence halls or classroom buildings are also available for events. In general, these rooms are subject to more restrictions than rooms in Lerner Hall, but they may work well for your event.

Outdoor Space
Certain outdoor spaces on Columbia's campus can be reserved for use. Depending on the space, there may be restrictions on grilling, sports or other activities. To begin, view the Outdoor Space Map.
