2 This function includes multiple-window Netscape services like the new LWeb Interactive Services, as well as simultaneous Netscape and Telnet sessions. To move between simultaneous sessions in different windows on the Library Netstation, use the alt-tab keys.

3 Support for displaying CJK character sets is available on all Library Netstations. Support for inputting CJK character sets is available as an option via the NJStar CJK package.

4 Additional steps required for access to restricted resources, depending on access platform and resource security:

  • when using any platform to access webscript-authenticated resources, an "insecure document" warning must be acknowledged.
  • when using any platform to access resources located on Columbia's secure server, login with cunix ID is required.
  • when using a CNet Kiosk (X-Term) to access resources which are webscript-authenticated or located on Columbia's secure server, a Netscape certificate must be accepted.
