Annual Report for 1994/1995
The years 1994-1995 has been one of extraordinary achievement for
the Library Systems Office. The process of filling longstanding
vacancies, reorganizing office structure, and reorienting individual
positions, all of which was completed by the end of 1993, positioned
us finally to begin accomplishing many of the tasks that had been put
on hold, as well as many new and innovative projects. The largest
part of the work of the office continues, of necessity, the
maintenance upkeep of the huge equipment and application
infrastructure we have developed over the last 5 years. Despite this,
the list below indicates that we have been able to make major progress
in planning for and implementing innovative systems and services, with
no increase in staffing.
