The CUL "Multifunction PC" model is intended to be able to support:

As such, it is moderately optimized for processor speed and video display speed. In 1998, "business-grade audio" was also added to allow listening to informational multimedia resources.

The multifunction PC hardware model is ordered for the following configurations: MOSIS workstation. Beginning in 2003 it will also be ordered for all new Technical Services Workstations and Reference Workstations .
