If There Are No Location Restrictions:

  2. C. Thomas adds it to the Databases Not Yet Tested section of the Web Access to CD-ROM LAN Databases page.

  3. C. Thomas sends email to the ERC to request that Web access to the database be tested and approved.

  6. C. Thomas updates the Electronic Resource Profile Record to enable the "Connect via WWW" button.

    Input the following URL prefix:

    For example:

    Exception to enabling the "Connect via WWW" button -- Is the database already available via the Web? If so, add an SSI statement to the connect screen, instead of enabling the "Connect via WWW" button.

  7. C. Thomas displays the Connect Screen via a Library Netstation, and makes sure the "Connect via WWW" button is operational.

  8. C. Thomas displays the Connect Screen via a CNet terminal and tests the Default Explain Screen error message.

  9. C. Thomas adds an SSI statement to the Connect Screen (insert unavail-WL.txt from /cu/libraries/indexes/includes/)

  10. C. Thomas notifies the ERC that the database is in production and asks the ERC to test the title.

  11. C. Thomas updates NERtrack.

  12. C. Thomas updates the Web Access To CD-ROM LAN Databases page.

  13. C. Thomas publicizes on the cul notesfile the fact that Web access to the CD-ROM LAN database is now available.
