Aurelius Horion, son of Horion, writes to Flavius Nestorios, praefectus Aegypti or prefect of Egypt, through his uncle on his father's side, Ammon, the well-known scholastikos, or lawyer. Horion claims his right to succeed his father in the position of prophet (a priest) of the Panopolite Nome against the scheming of the high priest.
