W. Dutschke (cwd3@columbia.edu) for specific local arrangements. The WWW site of this work group, including a list of its members and their addresses, is on the TEI web site at: http://www.uic.edu/orgs/tei/wg/mmss/ The provisional agenda is: 1. Introductions and administrative announcements. 2. Review of existing schemes, esp. the work already done by L. Burnard, R. Gartner and P. Kidd, and that recently proposed in draft form by G. Pass, L. Creider and E. O'Keefe for a MARC-AMC implementation of the same standards. 3. Testing of existing TEI markup on sample medieval manuscript descriptions. 4. Planning for future work. As a matter of TEI policy, current members of active TEI workgroups, the TEI technical review committee, or the TEI executive committee are welcome to attend this meeting as observers; persons not actively participating in the TEI work may attend with the permission of either of the workgroup heads. Non-WG members who wish to attend should contact the local head of the workgroup, C. W. Dutschke. Minutes of the meeting will be posted on the TEI WWW site within a month after the meeting is held.
