Minorities in the Professional World

This event was thrown in conjunction with Grupo Quisqueyano. It consisted of a large panel of alumni working in fields ranging from medicine, to finance, to teaching, to law and everything in between. It began with moderated questions dealing with interviews, encountering racism or prejudice, hiring practices, and job-placement programs, among other things. Later, the panel was free to answer direct questions from audience members in an attempt to ensure that all the pros and cons of being a minority in the professional realm were covered.
