William A. Boring architectural drawings and papers, 1859-1937
Architect. Boring was Director, 1920-1930, and Dean, 1931-1933, of the School of Architecture at Columbia University. He is best known for designing the Immigration Station at Ellis Island, New York, in 1899 while in partnership with Edward L. Tilton.
