Dr. Fahad al-Nasser is professor at Kuwait University (in the above 
mentioned Dept.) and concurrently heading the Dept. of Research & Studies 
of Social Development Office (S.D.O.) under the Amiri Diwan. He also held 
position of its Director General.

He received his Ph. D. from Michigan University, USA. He has organized, 
participated in, and contributed to several national, regional and 
international conferences, seminars, meetings symposia and training 
courses and presented several research works, primarily in the area of 
Middle East studies.

He is a member of several international organizations and bodies, such as 
MESA, etc.; listed and honored by several international organizations as 
a distinguished scholar, professor, researcherl and adminstrator.

Activities: Teaching, research, publications and consultancy in Social 
Science, Socio-psychologyl, Counseling and played a vital role in the 
development of rehabilitation and therapy of socially and psychologically 
affected citizens after the Iraqi invasion in 1990, through S.D.O.
