III. A Partial Eclipse of tlie Sun, August 8, invisible in America.
IV. A Total Eclipse of tlie ^loon, August 23; the Moon rising more or less eclipsed east of Nebraska to
the western boundary of South Carolina and Pennsylvania. In all the Atlantic States the Moon will rise
totally eclipsed.
