French, by Robert Misch, seen for the first time in
America at Amberg's Theatre.... "McNooney's Visit,"

acted for the first time undet- that title at Harrigan's
Park Theatre......"Honor Bright," by Mrs. Allen Ar¬
thur, originallv acted at the Madison Square Theatre.

36—MM. Erckmann-Chatrian's "Le Juif Polonais" (the
original of "The Bells") seen for the first time in

America at the Star.....Miss Kinharvie, an American

actress, made her debut at Terry's Theatre, London,
Eng., playing the title role in "Young Mrs. Winthrop."

nally acted at Herrmann's South Broad Street The¬

stage at Ilawes' Opera House, Bridgeport, Ot.; first in

Xew York, April 29, at the Union Square Theatre......

"Samson and Delilah," Aug. Daly's adaptation of
Alexandre Bisson and Jules Moinaux' "Le Conseil
Judiciaire" (originally acted at Vaudeville Theatre,
Paris, Fr., Nov. 9, 1886), seen for first time in America
under that title at Daly's Theatre. A German ver¬
sion was done at San Francisco, Cal — "Le Voyage de
M. Perrichon," by Eugene Labiche and Edmond Mar¬
tin, seen for the first time here at the Star Theatre.
An English version of this play is recalled as "Pea¬
cock's Holiday," and another as "Papa Perrichon."

i9—"Jean Dacier" (the original of "Gaston Cadol"), by
Chas. Lomon, acted for first time in America at the
Star Theatre, as was also "The Silent System," a one
act comedietta adapted from the French of R. Drey¬
fus, by Brander Matthews......People's Theatre, Can¬

8—Mons. Cascabel made  his American  debut  at the

Standard Theatre......"Reuben Glue, or Life Among

the Bui?hrangers," Fred Marsden's dramatization of
W. II. Thomas' "The Bushrangers" and "The Hunters
of Australia," seen for the first time in this city at the
Windsor Theatre. Under this title it was originally
acted Nov. 10, 1888, in New Hampshire. As "Trumps"
it was produced some years ago by C. PI ("Yankee")
