Pulisa gives the solar year more days than Brahma¬
gupta. To judge from the report of Brahmagupta,
Aryabhata gives a caturyugct 300 days less than Pulisa,
and 1050 more than Brahmagupta, Accordingly, Arya¬
bhata must reckon the solar year longer than Brahma¬
gupta and shorter than Pnlisa,
