[Roger Ward's release from the Counter.    Seizure of Bibles &c.]

Whereas the wardens of the Stac[ioners Company] for offences
committed by Roger Ward in matters of printinge haue commytted
on our commaundment to ward in the Counter in Woodstreete.
We are content he shalbe enlarged and sett at lib [er] tie payinge
the charges of ye prison and also all other charges touchinge his
imprisonment ffrom Lambythe this 19 of October 1586.

Roger coxe vpholster was released vpon the like warrant at the
same tyme beinge in the Counter of the P[o]ultrye commytted
thither by the wardens on the said commissioners commaundment
for kepinge and concealinge certen bookes Disorderly printed contrary
to the starchamb[er] Decrees [of 23 June 1586].
