Ouilielmus. It is a false Shiboleth of Bibliographers to omit the first i in this word,
and to spell it Gulielmus. At first we fell in with this custom, but
presently rejected the error: in which we have the approval of Dr J. H.
Murray, Editor of the great Oxford English Dictionary. Dr Murray
