In conjunction with the U.S. Postal Service's new system
 

of 9-digit ZIP
 

Codes, the Department of State has assigned a unique 4-
 

digit number
 

to each Foreign Service post.
 

All mail sent through the Department's
 

pouch system
 

(for posts without APO/FPO addresses) should add the
 

4-digit numbe
 

r to the current ZIP Code 20520. For example, the new
 

ZIP Code for Abidjan would be 20520-2010; for Abu Dhabi, 20520-6010.
