CONTRIBUTORS TO THIS ISSUE

Roland Baughman is Head of the Special Collections
Department of the Columbia University Libraries.

Melville Cane, poet and lawyer, is a Columbia alumnus
and a member of the Friends.

Valerien Lada-Mocarski, Senior Vice President of
the J. Henry Schroder Banking Corporarion, is a member
and former Chairman of the Friends. He is a collector of
books about early travels from western Europe to Russia and
about Russian expansion in the Pacific, including the
discovery and settlement of Alaska.

Richard H. Logsdon is Director of the Columbia Uni¬
versity Libraries.

Dr. Jessie Taft was a close friend and associate of Dr.
Otto Rank, and was on the faculty of the University of
Pennsylvania School of Social Work until her retirement
in 1952.
