iMark Van Doren, poet, author, and beloved Columbia faculty
member, was the principal speaker. He will return to the podium
at the meeting of the Friends on January 18 to present to the
Libraries his collection of correspondence, manuscripts, and pub¬
lications. The program for the evening will be centered around
this important event.
