Activities of the Friends

Meetings

Winter Meeting on February 7. As we go to press, plans are
being completed for the next meeting of the Friends, which will
be held at the .Men's Faculty Club on ^^'ednesday, February 7.
The special feature of the program «'ill be the presentation to the
Libraries of the papers of A\'. AV. Norton & Company, publishers.
The presentation is to be made by Mr. George P. Brockway, Presi¬
dent of the company, and the principal address by Paul Henry
Lang who is .Music L'.ditor for the company and Professor of Musi-
cology at Columbia Universitj^. The transfer of the papers will
further their preser\ation and \\-ill make them available to quali¬
fied scholars.

Bancroft Prizes Dinner on April 18. Members of the association
may wish to make note of the fact that the Bancroft Dinner will
be held on Thursday, April 18. The invitations will be mailed
approximately a month prior to the event.
