Kenneth A. Lohf is Columbia's Librarian for Rare
Books and Manuscripts.

Andrew B. Myers is Professor in the Graduate En¬
glish Department at Fordham University and is cur¬
rently at work on a biography of Washington Irving.

Morris H. Saffron is the author of Surgeon to Wash¬
ington, a biography of Dr. John Cochran, and is Visit¬
ing Professor of Medicine (Medical History) at the
New Jersey College of Medicine.
