The major papers of Otto Rank were given to the
University by Jessie Taft in 1957, and additions have
been made since then by his widow, Estelle Simon. In
1982, the Otto Rank Association dissolved after the
retirement of its director, Anita Faatz, who also edited
its Journal; the assets of the Association have been
donated to the Rare Book and Manuscript Library to
support the Otto Rank Collection; and additional pa¬
pers of Rank, as well as those of Jessie Taft, Virginia
Robinson and the Association have also recently been
added.
