pure from commixtion, does not only penetrate the em¬
pyreal heaven, mounting to the throne of the highest in
an odour of sweetness, but returns home as a ship under
full sail, loaden with treasures of inestimable value. For
though the effect be known, which her holy prayers did
operate, that is corporeall health in them for whome they
were offer'd, yet the favours and graces they impetrated
for the offerer, are not to be known and valued by the re¬
ceiver.
