Biographical/Historical Note

Maynard Parker, a commercial photographer, was born in 1900 in Vermont and died in Los Angeles in 1976. Parker shot extensively for the magazine, House Beautiful, and was favored by some of the leading architects of his day, notably Aaron Green and Frank Lloyd Wright. The Huntington Library in San Marino, Calif. houses a collection of Maynard Parker photographs.
