Columbia image bank : history of art and architecture.
Description
Digital images of important works of art and architecture, with special emphasis on those required for the teaching of Western art history from the Neolithic period to the present. Included are images from many of the world's major collections, such as the Louvre, Uffizi, and the Prado, as well as many important archaeological sites including Ephesus, Pergamum and Mycenae. Images are licensed chiefly from Saskia with additional content contributed by the Visual Media Center, Dept. of Art History and Archaeology, Columbia University.
