Insight® is image management and delivery software from Luna Imaging, Inc. Columbia uses Insight® to manage, access, and present many Digital Image Collections. |

How do I utilize Insight®? |
| |
Currently, Columbia is offering Insight® via the Browser client. The Insight® Browser client makes image collections available through a Web browser, and is available on campus and off-campus.

Do I need a password to access Insight®? |
| |
Yes, use your Columbia UNI and password when accessing Columbia's restricted collections via Insight®. |

How does Insight® work? |
| |
When you open Insight® you will be in the Group window, the starting point for finding, displaying, and using images.
To search, select "search" from the main menu. Then select "by keywords" or another data field such as "by creator name" or "by title" to do a basic search. For Boolean searching, select "by data field."
The Image Workspace is used to manipulate an image. Double-click a thumbnail image in the Group window to move it to the Image Workspace and manipulate it with the Image Workspace Toolbar. |
