The Libraries website supports the efforts of the Web Standards Project, and encourages users to use browsers which support technology implementations in compliance with the guidelines outlined by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and other industry standards bodies.

Throughout the libraries, Library Netstations are configured with Internet Explorer 6, and ColumbiaNet Kiosk Stations are configured with Mozilla Firefox.

The Libraries website has been designed and tested for compatibility with Windows, UNIX, Linux, and Macintosh versions of the following browsers:

The Libraries website homepage is available in a text-only version, and most pages on the site display acceptably in text-based browsers. Online RequestIt services and some Electronic Resources are inaccessible to text-based browsers. Graphical browsers earlier than version 4.0 display LibraryWeb with varying degrees of accuracy and functionality.
