My Ph.D. is in African American and Post-Colonial Literatures from the 
Sorbonne University, Paris. I am an Affiliate Faculty of the Initiative on 
Race, Gender and Globalization (IRGG) at Yale University. 

My most recent book publications are: 

"Toubab La!" Literary Representations of Mixed-Race Characters in the 
African Diaspora. (Cambridge Scholars Publishing, London, 2007).

Awakening African Women: The Dynamics of Change. (Cambridge 
Scholars Press, London, England, 2004)

I wrote articles and book reviews in a series of African Studies journals 
such as African Studies Review, JENDA, West Africa Review, and other 
publications such as the Greenwood Encyclopedia of African American Women 
Writers and the African American National Biography (AANB).

My book chapter "African Literature" appeared in the Greenwood 
Encyclopedia of World Popular Cultures: Sub-Saharan Africa in 2007.
