Research interests include the intersection of  gender,  race, ethnicity,
class and mental health outcomes; the relationship of select psychological,
social, and economic factors to the education of girls and women (focus on
sub-Saharan Africa) across racial and ethnic categories; and the
relationship between gender role socialization, engagement in multiple roles
and mental health outcomes across different racial and ethnic groups.
