My interests are mostly with the geography of Africa, with particular
interest on the sub-Saharan region.  I am also interested in
refugee-related issues as they pertain to this part of the world.  I don't
(yet) teach a course on Africa, but I do teach one on "the developing
world," which includes the African continent.
