Research interests include the bibliography of sources for Asian, African 
and Caribbean Studies; also library, archive and information services in 
Asia, Africa and the Caribbean. Member SCOLMA Committee, 1975-1979, 
1980-2004. 

Editor for African research and documentation (ARD): journal of 
SCOLMA, 1995 to 2004.  Also interests in Preservation management 
& Conservation, with special reference to disaster preparedness in the 
developing world.
