Michael has been a joint field researcher on the WeppaWanno people of 
Etsako, Edo North Nigeria with Felicia Nwalutu. Both of them have reviewed 
H-Net books authored by Drs. Nwando Achebe and Fredrick Lamp on African 
history and arts as well as T. A. Meade and Merry E. Wiesner-Hanks(eds) 
Blackwell Companions to (Gender) History. 

Michael is a poet with interest in Africa, nature, humanity and essence of 
life. His poems focus on philosophies of life and human interactions.
