I teach courses for advanced undergraduate students in "The Archaeology of
Africa", and for graduate students in the "Archaeology and Ethnology of
Madagascar".  I conduct archaeological research, primarily focused on the
development of later complex soceities, in both Madagascar and the Comoro
Islands, in addition to work in the Middle East and elsewhere.  ...  SOME
