Description:
Egyptology generally: language, history, art and archaeology of ancient 
Egypt, ca. 3500 B.C. to 100 A.D. Special fields: New Kingdom history and 
art history, with particular interest in period 1600 B.C. to 1200 B.C. 
Research interest in painting, sculpture, organization of labor and 
techniques of artistic production. Second interest in domestic history 
and family structure. Women's history.
