Field archaeologist

Current project: "Swedish Jordan Expedition", director of excavations at
Tell Abu al-Kharaz, Jordan (Jordan Valley). 

Earlier projects: excavations at the Late Bronze Age site Hala Sultan Tekke,
Cyprus, excavations at the Mycenaean sites of Midea and Kallithea, Greece. 

Archaeology of Palestine, Levant, Jordan - Transjordan, Jordan Valley,
Cyprus, Egypt, Eastern Mediterranean in general 

Special period interests: Early Bronze Age, late Middle Bronze Age, Late
Bronze Age, Iron Age, c. 3500-500 B.C.

Main general interests: modern field archaeology, archaeometry, chronology,
absolute and relative dating, radiocarbon, dating by diffusion models,
synchronism, settlement patterns, burial customs, tomb arrangements, trade
patterns, religion, pottery - ceramics of Palestine, pottery sequence,
animal and human figurines, architecture and reconstruction, material
analyses, osteology, paleopathology, botany
