I have an MA in Medieval Islamic History from the University of
Wahsington.

Current areas of research include development of writing; visual symbolism
and semiotics; linguistic archaeology and the ancient Near East.  I am
developing a website that will provide resources on the development of
wristing in the ancient Near East.
