DESCRIPTION OF YOUR WORK
Recently I have worked in the research project "Israelite Historiography"
I am working on my doctoral thesis, which deals with 2 Sam 7 and related
texts (1 Sm 15, 2 Sm, 2 Sm 11-12, 23, 1 Kings 1-2. So I am mostly
working on Syro-Palestine and its languages. My backround is the
Goettingen school (leading figures are Würthwein, Dietrich, Veijola)
and so I am dealing in my work the deuteronomists and the
deuteronomistic historiography.
My masters thesis on Semitic philology deals with reconstructing early
Hebrew and its application on early biblical Hebrew (Ps 68) and the
metrics of biblical poetry.
The question of historical Jesus and Assyrology are also topics, that
I am interested in and which I have studied a bit.
