I am currently writing a Doctoral Dissertation on the Qur'an
(Koran)--focussing on the use of 'book' and 'writing' language in its
self-description. I am also interested in the development of Christian
theology in Islamic contexts, especially Pakistan. Language interests
include Arabic, Urdu and Syriac. 

Also I have working on a searchable Arabic text of the Qur'an for 
Macintosh O/S.
