Modern and contemporary Middle East politics, including the Arab- Israeli
conflict and peace process; revolutionary movements, and U.S. foreign
policy in the Middle East. Main areas of current research include PLO
politics and policies as well as the inter- national relations in the
region. Projects also incorporate editing a journal, the Middle East
Review of International Affairs, and creating computer-based centers for
teaching and the exchange of information among scholars.
