        Historical and Cultural Geography, mostly of Eretz Israel (The Land
of Israel), mostly in the modern era (1800 c.e. and on). Ideology and
Landscape (general; definitions, structures, and mechanisms of ideology;
relations between ideology and landscape; Economical, technical and
symbolic efficiency in the human landscape); Religious Geography (general,
and in Eretz Israel); Activities of European powers and churches in Eretz
Israel (esp. French-Catholic); Policies and activities of the Jewish
National Fund, and the landscape derived from them; Kibbutz (communal
settlement) - its origin, and ideological and landscape changes in it since
then; Jewish orthodox Kollels and other Jewish organizations, and the
landscape created by them; Tombs and burial grounds, their structure and
symbolism, and their function as a link with the other world and the Gods
