     Research, teaching, and writing in political science, with
emphasis on political parties, political leaders, parliaments,
political culture (including Islam and Judaism), and political
elites in the Middle East, especially Turkey and Israel, with
emphasis on the contemporary period and recent history (20th
century, especially post-World War II).
