Description of work:

Expertise in political economy, Indian economy, labour economy, 
industrial economics, international political economy, human development,
development economics and economics of social policy. Conducted thesis
on 'The Political Economy of Policy Reform: Labour Market Regulation in
India'. Worked as Programme staff for the Ford Foundation before joining
academia, and has also had consultancy experience with the World Bank and
the UNDP. Current research is on the political economy of Bihar and Madhya Pradesh.
