Keywords: Maharashtra, Temple- Priests, Shaivism, Caste, Gurav Priests,
Jatipuranas, Hindu Mythology, Smarta Brahmins, Maharashtra history. I work
on the Shiva Temple priests of Maharashtra who are known as GURAV. My
other interests include Hinduism in general and particularly the caste
system. I teach courses in Hinduism for beginners, caste system,
Bhagvat-Gita, etc.
