-- With some colleagues (Dr Robin Haines and Dr Katherine Prior) I am
working on a biography of Charles Edward Trevelyan, British and Indian
civil servant.

India from circa 1000-1860 AD
Modern India - 1857-1950
Contemporary India

-- With a number of other colleagues I am involved in two broad first
year topics: 1. Turning Points (I look at Indian independence as a
turning point (?) in the decline of the British Empire.)
2. Another first year topic called "History's Killing Fields" which
looks at the way humans turn on other humans.
