particularly Tamilnadu, contemporary goddess worship in India at large,
sotries of transposed heads, the relationship between the female divine
and earthly women; uses of Lacan for Indian texts and kinship networks; 
women's movements in India; Hinduism in Malaysia; pilgrimage
