Description of work:
Teaching social anthropology, Human Ecology,
Anthropological Thought & Theories , Psychological Anthropology & Linguistic Anthropology to 
post-graduate students. Though I have general interest in the fields of 
kinship, folklore & sociolinguistics among the tribes of Orissa (India),
at present I am specialising on the hunter-gatherer societies of India as
well as other parts of South Asia. So far I have published 40 articles in
different journals & books and three books titled:
(1) Saora Language
(2)Integration of Tribal Culture with the Cult of Jagannath
(3) Human Ecology Of Foragers (Commonwealth Publishers, New Delhi,1998.
